Oracle 9i Parallel SQL Execution (2 Days)
Description
The objective of this course is to explore Oracle technology for execution of SQL statements in parallel. Major subject areas to be considered are:
• A general understanding of parallelism.
• A specific consideration of parallel SQL execution within an Oracle database.
• Monitoring and tuning parallel SQL operations.
Audience
Database administrators, data warehouse administrators and application developers who will be responsible for implementing and using data warehouse technology or are otherwise interested in parallel SQL execution.
